WELLBEING PROJECT

Wellbeing programme is designed to support students in achieving holistic development in both physical and emotional wellbeing. Through project-based learning, the subject provides practical lessons that help students understand how to apply these skills and insights in their everyday lives.

“Care to Lead, Safe to Grow” – Creating a safe environment through student action

At UTS Saigon South Campus, as part of the Care to Lead – Safe to Grow project, Grade 5 Safety Ambassadors took the initiative to design and implement wellbeing and safety communication materials for the school community. Rather than setting rules, their displays served as gentle reminders for everyone to slow down, become more aware of themselves, and respect shared spaces so that each school day can feel safe, positive, and enjoyable.

Grade 1 Wellbeing Project: Journey of Joy

UTS-ers learn to recognise and manage their emotions, gradually building balance and reducing stress in everyday life. At the same time, they develop creativity, teamwork, and the ability to spread positive energy to those around them.

Grade 2 Wellbeing Project: Beautiful Life

This theme helps students deepen their understanding of social relationships, environmental awareness, and the effective use of the Vietnamese language. Through this journey, they also have opportunities to explore cultural diversity and appreciate the richness of nature and everyday life.

Grade 3 Wellbeing Project: Amazing Life

UTS-ers explore physical and emotional wellbeing through hands-on activities such as model-making and drawing. Through these experiences, they learn how to care for themselves safely and develop a positive understanding of wellbeing.

Grade 4 Wellbeing Project: Green Dream

This theme encourages UTS-ers to explore themselves and gradually gain a deeper understanding of wellbeing in both learning and life. It also lays the foundation for a spirit of inquiry, personal growth, and the pursuit of their dreams.

Grade 5 Wellbeing Project: Bridging Love

UTS-ers build a broader worldview by exploring the history, geography, living things, and cultures of different countries. Through this process, they begin to recognise the close relationship between people and the environment, while developing an awareness of living in harmony within an interconnected world.

Sharing from UTS Community

Through Wellbeing lessons, students build essential life skills that are often not included in traditional curricula, while learning practical strategies and tools to regulate their emotions and grow into responsible global citizens.
