Which color in the UTS-ers’ world?
Visual intelligence is one of the eight types of human intelligence, helping us imagine numerous objects, develop strong visual memory and artistic tendency. At UTS, the students in grade 8.2 can grow this special type of intelligence through the lesson “The World in our Eyes”. The special thing in this lesson is the combination of English and painting. Students will draw their world through their point of view, then present it in English so that everyone can better understand that picture. Each painting shows their unique thought as well as an opportunity to practice their English-speaking skills in front of many people. This exciting class requires UTS-ers a source of vocabulary to be able to explain their world. UTS-ers can also maximize the observation ability which will create plentiful visions about issues of life.

“She has completed the 1st Grade at UTS beyond our expectation”
Miss Thanh Nhan, Mother of Tue Minh – student of Class 1.5 has shared about the changes and growth of her daughter after a year learning at US Vietnam Talent International School: “Tue Minh is quite a shy girl while interacting with adults. She is very confident to make acquaintances with peers but somehow shy to communicate with her teachers. However, after a year UTS, she already has some positive changes. When Tue Minh acknowledges that she will be taught by other teachers in Grade 2, she expresses: ‘I will miss my old teachers so much, but no one can teach me forever in my life!’ Her thinking satisfies me since she knows that anyone should be independent, she needs to change to learn from more people. In long term, I hope that she can understand that the world will always change and we all need to adapt to it. Tue Minh understands that ‘we go to school to learn what we don’t know yet’. Therefore, while studying at UTS, she can freely give answers for questions without feeling ashamed. ‘Mr. Casey will never criticize me with the wrong answer, I just need to raise hands and express my ideas!’, said Tue Minh. I am really happy when she tells me that other teachers also apply the same teaching methods. I believe that she will more confident and be ready for new things without failure disappointment. Regarding the progress in knowledge, besides the standards of reading, writing and doing simple Math exercises like other Grade 1 students, she usually tells me about other knowledge from school that beyond my expectation. While enrolling at UTS, she has never studied at any language center. But now, she confidently teaches me how to add and subtract numbers, explain the stories she draws,

[Humans of UTS] – UTS Homeroom Assistance Agent: “I love UTS’ students as my own kids!”
At UTS, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students are specially taken care by the Homeroom Assistance Agent. Our little students are the ones who are still unfamiliar with the new learning environment. The support and guidance of the teachers are stepping-stones for them to gradually adapt to school and develop their own abilities. Talking about her work, Mrs. Hong Quyen – Grade 2 Homeroom Assistance Agent shared: “Every morning, I accompany UTS-ers on the school bus. All students’ activities at school such as learning, eating and other personal needs are closely monitored and helped if necessary. My working day just ends when all the children have returned home safely after a day studying at UTS.” In the classroom, students are equipped with both academic knowledge and soft skills. Then outside, there are also special “teachers” who are ready to instruct them about the simple activities in life. Ms. Thanh Dan shared: “Although I am responsible for supporting Grade 1 students with personal activities at UTS, I always try to let the children gradually learn to be independent and actively complete the tasks. If they depend on me too much, they will have a hard time without my help when they get older.” “This job is hard, but it brings us a lot of joy. We love UTS’ students as our own kids. Therefore, we always strive to make them feel happy at school. During these days when UTS-ers had to study at home because of the pandemic, we miss them so much. We just hope the pandemic will be over in the next school year so that we can continue this special job!” – shared Mrs. Quyen. Each member of UTS family tries to nurture future talents to bring them the most comprehensive learning and playing environment. Let’s say

Benefits of inter-level bilingual school at UTS
UTS is an inter-level bilingual school which integrates the optimized MOET program with the modern International program. With the education programs ranging from Primary, Middle School to High School, we bring numerous benefits to the development of our little “talents”. 1. THE CONSISTENT AND COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PATH The first benefit for students is the consistent and comprehensive development path. With the same education method applied from Grade 1 to Grade 12, students will not have to face the confusion at the transition stage or the difficulty to adapt to the new learning environment. This is an opportunity for students to promote their confidence and high learning spirit to discover their outstanding talents. 2. CONVENIENCE Convenience is another benefit of inter-level school, especially for families who have more than 2 children. Brothers and sisters in a family can study and explore the world at the same school. From that point, parents can save the commuting time and control family finance. 3. THE INCREASE OF LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES One more benefit of the inter-level bilingual school is the increase of learning opportunities. With lots of students at different ages, the process of exchanging and guiding lessons back and forth among the students becomes easier. In addition, the inter-level school also facilitates students to discover knowledge of a higher level with the enthusiastic support from dedicated teachers. In order for these activities to take place smoothly, UTS’ teachers and staffs always prove the spirit of “growing talents with care”. The final aim of UTS is equipping students with necessary skills to confidently conquer important milestones and contribute to the society.

“I feel sastified when trusting UTS to grow my daughter”
Ms. Giang Tien, Mother of Uyen Phuong – student of Class 7.2, expressed meaningful feelings about her daughter’s learning journey at UTS: “Uyen Phuong enrolled the 7th grade at UTS after 6 years studying at another school. During the last school year, she achieved good results in not only academic but also extra-curricular fields such as drama and sports. Uyen Phuong was always a good student in previous school years, but her limitation is that she rarely communicates with other people. This limitation was immediately improved when enrolled at UTS and learned Drama – Civic Education. After very first lessons, her communication skills are much better than before. Especially, Director Viet Linh and Ms. Cam Tien inspired Uyen Phuong a lot so that she could freely express her emotions through the lines of the “Make friends with the sky” drama on professional stages. UTS has brought Drama the into education curriculum, marking a spectacular step for changing the teaching method of some “unconvincing” subjects. Moreover, Uyen Phuong received a lot of support, companion and encouragement from both UTS and family. It has a great impact on Uyen Phuong so that she can go further and longer in the following school years. With that being said, it is also important to mention the role of parents in creating success for children. Parents should cooperate with the school and not just assign all responsibility in students’ training to the school. Parents, more special than anyone else, must figure out the advantages and disadvantages of their children, then have exact solutions and encouragement for any behavior of their children. In addition, UTS’ facilities, the enthusiasm of Admissions counselors, security guards, and homeroom assitance agents also also make UTS become a friendly school. I am grateful for what UTS has been doing and also
