Within the fast pace of change, educational curriculum is annually revised to reflect the capricious society and assist students in gaining the contemporary knowledge and skills. Coming to the Experiential Class for Parents: Wellbeing Class – Learning Happiness at UTS Van Lang Complex, parents are introduced to the study program at UTS, experience the “bilingual lesson”, define the differences of each curriculum and explore in-depth about learning projects that being implemented by UTS. Aside from the spirit of lifelong learning, UTS-ers also showcased their strengths in the field of physical education and sports at the District level competition for the National Phu Dong Sports Festival in the academic year 2023 – 2024. Soccer The Primary Male Soccer Team has advanced to the Quarterfinals of the National Phu Dong Sports Festival and is ranked among the Top 8 strongest teams.     Badminton In Badminton, three UTS athletes played excellently and achieved worthy results: Ngo Hoang Uyen Phuong (Class 10.2) won the Gold Medal in the High School Women’s Single Category. Nguyen Tuong Nguyen (Class 7.1) and Dao Nguyen Dang Khoa (Class 7.5) won the Silver Medals in the Secondary School Men’s Doubles Category for Grades 6-7. Table tennis Nguyen Tran Quoc Thang and Mai Tuan Kiet, (Class 7.1) two talented athletes, had achieved one Silver Medal and one Bronze Medal in the Table Tennis Secondary School Men’s Single Category.   Swimming Swimming is the last sport in which UTS-ers participated extremely enthusiastically and got a series of high achievements in Single and Relay Competition: 2 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals and 19 Bronze Medals.      UTS is proud to see our students working hard every day and achieving worthy results. Each UTS educator is a caring “nurturer” with the mission of growing the students to be excellent in character and in learning. Being able to witness the “seeds” grow up, and see all the hard works pay off can brighten their day and motivate the UTS “nurturers” on their journey of “Growing talent with care”.

Anti-Bullying Week is annually organized in the third week of November, aiming to raise awareness, promoting appropriate behavior by saying no to bullying and together build a safe community. This year, focusing on the theme “Make a noise about bullying”, UTS offers different activities varied from writing and drawing to decorating and making videos. This is an opportunity for students to use their voices and express their thoughts to prevent bullying in school.

To achieve that goal, children need the support of parents to accompany them to become a person with a happy life. Positive thinking is not a built-in trait, it is the result of a long process of training from an early age. It is thanks to this process that positive thinking will be the premise for children to become happy people, global citizens who create positive values for society. So how can parents train this way of thinking for their children?   1. Be positive to your children: Many studies show that children’s lifestyle tends to be influenced by parents, so to teach children to be positive, parents also need to have a positive lifestyle in all circumstances. When faced with their child’s mistakes, parents absolutely must not show attitudes such as anger, blame and ridicule, but should use gentle words to remind their children such as: “Next time, don’t make that mistake”, “Next time you’ll be a little more careful, you’ll do better”. Opening Ceremony Of The Academic Year 2023 – 2024 Entering the 6th year of the “Growing talent with care”, the Opening Ceremony of academic year 2023 – 2024 will mark a proud milestone. Aside from the outstanding performances, this ceremony is also an opportunity for UTS to honor outstanding students who have successfully won the “UTS Growing Talent 2023” scholarship with excellence in fields of Academic, Language, Sports, Arts or Volunteer work.
